Current Job Opportunities

Camp Counselors

Instructors are responsible for guiding and supporting children ages 4-14 through daily farm and garden activities and transitions during each 5-day camp session between July 8 and August 16. Camp Instructors need experience working with and a genuine love for children, a creative spirit, the ability to be flexible when needed, and lots of patience.  We expect your first priority at camp to be identifying and meeting the diverse and evolving needs of our campers. The main focus of the position is to support, engage, challenge, and enjoy the children.

Counselor Requirements: All Counselors must attend mandatory staff training at the Hampshire College Farm Center. Counselors must be available to work all six weeks of camp, Monday through Friday. Camp CITs (Counselor-in-Training) for ages 15-19

Work closely with Camp Instructors, staff, and children ages 3-10, assisting with all camp activities.  
Work with children, the farm animals, in the garden, and helping with cooking, games, songs, and agricultural crafts.  
Accepting applications now for CITs.  

CIT Requirements: 1) All CITs must attend Staff Training days at Hampshire College Farm Center: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.  2) All CITs must be available to work all 6 weeks of camp, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.  3) CITs must be 15 years of age or older by July 1.  Please send your application by May 31 to:

Jr. CIT for returning campers ages 11-14

Work closely with Camp Instructors, staff, and children ages 3 to 8, assisting with animal care, fiber arts, gardening, cooking, games, and songs.  
Accepting applications now from returning Farm and Garden campers.  
Program fee: $150/week, two week minimum preferred.  
Please send your completed application and $100 deposit ($50 of which is nonrefundable) by May 31 to:
